We are delighted to present our partner in Digital Roads Prosperity Partnership, CEO and Founder of Didimi, Dr Kyriakos Kantarakias.
Kyriakos will be presenting a talk on; Interoperability, a prerequisite for Digital Twins?
Abstract: Digital Twins have generated a lot of excitement for their ability to transform the construction lifecycle towards an efficient mode. Yet, despite their promise, they have yet to become a business-as-usual practice. In this talk, Dr. Kantarakias will explore some of the reasons behind this reality, and explore how Didimi and Digital Roads of the Future at the University of Cambridge are working together to unblock some of the major barriers in the Digital Twins future.
Dr. Kantarakias is the founder of Didimi, the company empowering AEC engineers to collaborate synchronously on BIM and Digital Twins. Didimi is the spin-off company from Digital Roads of the Future at the University of Cambridge.
Previously, he worked at Palantir Technologies as a Deployment Strategist, building digital twins for Fortune500 manufacturers and automotive companies. He holds a PhD from Imperial College London on the optimization and uncertainty quantification of chaotic dynamical systems.
