About
Here at the DRF Initiative we recognise that carrying out research can be an all-consuming process. As part of the DRF Lunchtime Clinic we are encouraging all our Researchers and PhD Students to join us to find out how they can improve their wellbeing at work and where to seek support when needed. The session, called 5 ways to Wellbeing, will be delivered by Eleanor Martin, University of Cambridge's Wellbeing Coordinator.
The session
The Five Ways to Wellbeing is an evidence-based framework promoted by the NHS and national mental health charities. This session will explain what the Five Ways are and their impact on mental wellbeing. It will provide practical examples of actions for each and give participants the opportunity to reflect on their own wellbeing and note five actions they could try in their daily life.
Session Objectives:
- Understand the Five Ways to Wellbeing, their impact, and practical examples of each in everyday life.
- Reflect on their own wellbeing and try five small actions in daily routines.
- Identify additional resources and sources of support.
